Conditions

1. Fare cards are required for transportation and this is the only method of payment. No cash accepted.
2. Seat belts must be worn at all times.
3. No smoking on Rio Transit buses.
4. Please be ready 30 minutes before your scheduled pickup time.
5. Buses will wait no longer than 5 minutes past pickup time.
6. If you miss your bus and a second bus is sent, you will be charged double the normal fare.
7. Escorts must be registered to ride.
8. No more than six shopping bags may be carried onto the bus.
9. No riders under the age of 18 years old allowed.
10. If you need to cancel a ride, please call office at least 24 hours in advance.
11. Drivers are not allowed to make or cancel appointments, make unscheduled stops without prior authorization, or permitted into rider's homes.
12. Drivers may not accept gratuities of any kind.
