Card Weaving Workshop

Card weaving, also called tablet weaving, is a fun and easy way to create colorful bands, straps, belts and more. Try this ancient art form, turned low-cost hobby, and amaze yourself with your first project! Renee Marcellis will be the instructor. ADMISSION: Yarn will be provided, but there is a materials fee of $3.00 for a set of weaving cards, which participants may keep. This fee is payable in advance, cash only. Please register at the Adult Information Desk. Minimum age for participants is 13 years old, by the date of the workshop.

Ms. Lenard-Cook will be speaking as part of the Holocaust series of events at Esther Bone and the Coronado Mall. She will discuss her book, Dissonance. This novel is about composer, Hana Weissova, survivor of Theresienstadt Concentration Camp. A book signing will follow the program.
