The results from the city of Rio Rancho’s April 13, 2010, runoff election have been canvassed and certified as official by 13th Judicial District Court Judge John F. Davis.

Through the canvassing process, which is in place to ensure the accuracy of election results, it was verified that out of the 48,144 eligible registered voters who could have cast a ballot in this election, 1,100 or 2.28 percent voted.
