Funeral Motorcade Route
On Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014, at approximately 9:45 a.m., a motorcade will leave Daniels Mortuary at 4310 Sara Road in Rio Rancho and transport Officer Anthony Haase to the Santa Ana Star Center for funeral services.
Traffic will be stopped along the route as the motorcade passes. It is expected that the motorcade will consist of many vehicles, delaying traffic in the area.
The route is as follows:
West on Sara Road to N.M. 528
North on N.M. 528 to Northern Boulevard
West on Northern Boulevard to Unser Boulevard
North on Unser Boulevard to NM 347 (Paseo del Volcan)
East on NM 347 to Broadmoor Boulevard
North on Broadmoor Boulevard to Paseo del Volcan Bypass
West on Paseo del Volcan Bypass to South Center Drive
North on South Center Drive to the first entrance of the parking lot at the Santa Ana Star Center
After the service is concluded, approximately 11:30 a.m., the motorcade will transport Officer Haase to the Vista Verde Memorial Park located at 4310 Sara Road. The motorcade will pass by and pause at the Rio Rancho Police Headquarters for Officer Haase’s last radio call.
South on South Center Drive to Paseo del Volcan Bypass
East on Paseo del Volcan Bypass to Broadmoor Boulevard
South on Broadmoor Boulevard to NM 347 (Paseo del Volcan)
West on NM 347 to Unser Boulevard
South on Unser Boulevard to Northern Boulevard
East on Northern Boulevard to Quantum Road
South on Quantum Road, stopping briefly in front of 500 Quantum Road where the last radio call will take place
After the last call, east on Quantum Road to N.M. 528
South on N.M. 528 to Sara Road
East on Sara Road to Meadowlark Road
South on Meadowlark Road to the entrance to Vista Verde Memorial Park
